Isn’t it enough to dial the contrast slider all the way up?
I’m sorry to disappoint you. To get the best out of your movie, you really need to make shot-by-shot adjustments that go deeper than just turning up a single slider. Using local adjustments, for example, I can direct the viewer’s gaze to actually look where I want them to look. That’s very effective, isn’t it?

How does the collaboration with me work?
During a conversation, you tell me what kind of feel or look you want for your film. After I have received the footage from you, I’ll start with the color grading. Using selected stills from your film, I’ll create various initial looks for you to choose from.
Meanwhile I’ll start with the color correction so that there are no unwanted differences in brightness, color and contrast. If necessary, individual shots are denoised or sharpened.
Now it’s time to apply your selected look to the entire film. Once you are satisfied, it’s time to export and I will send you your graded film. Finish! 🙂
