Film & Video Post-Production

Freelance Film Editor in Salzburg, Austria

Think of me as the magician behind the scenes—turning raw footage into storytelling gold. As your editor, I’ll weave together scenes like a master storyteller, creating a narrative that’s as captivating as it is seamless. From heartwarming tales to adrenaline-pumping adventures, I’ll sprinkle in just the right amount of movie-making mojo to keep your audience glued to the screen. As a film editor I will work with you through all stages of post-production.

  • I edit every genre (documentary, commercial, image film, feature film, music videos, social media reels, …)

  • Close collaboration with the client for an optimal result

  • Adobe Premiere / Davinci Resolve

  • incl. music licenses / alternatively I also know great composers

  • Motion Graphics / Title Animation / a bit of compositing & VFX

  • Sound-Design, if desired

How do you want your movie to feel?

Film editing is really powerful, because in the editing room the movie is put together for the first time. The order of shots, the music and the sound determine whether it will be a calm and hopeful movie or a fast and scary one. It is important that you ask yourself how you want your movie to feel. I know the necessary ways and means to achieve this goal. Here are two of my works that illustrate how differently movies can be edited:

Humorous, fast-paced narrative

dramatic, slow-paced narrative

What can you expect from working with me?

I work quickly and carefully. As soon as I have viewed the footage, I will start with a rough cut, in which we determine the structure and pace of the film. I will browse for the right music and create an initial sound design. Once I have gathered and incorporated your feedback, I’ll start to fine-tune the film. At the end of this process, you’ll have a polished movie with just the right pace and length.

Does your movie already have the right look?

In order for your film to develop its full potential, all it needs now is the right look. As a colorist, I can help you with this:
