T A K O V

T A K O V is a personal project, which was created in one afternoon without any preparation. I came up with the story as I shot it, because the main reason of this project was to get cool footage for color grading. I wanted to create this dirty, cold mood and by the same time test how far I can push the footage from my Canon 60D when grading. The footage that you get out of camera is already heavily compressed (h264) and only 8bit, therefore I had to be very careful, because it falls apart very easily. There was a lot of ugly color noise, which had to be removed, but nevertheless I am pretty happy with the result.
